“They were bought by the Hilton so they changed something’s. Bar and restaurant are open now and were very nice. No continental breakfast but we had breakfast downstairs and they give you a sizable portion. Food was good. Staff like always were very nice and our bartender. Carl made our visit even better.”

“Desk Staff is beyond great. Only advice for them to pay attention to detail. Second visit. Same room 3 months apart. Missing bathroom fan conver. Cracked electrical inlet cover in entry. Seems small but i belive this could be a destination hotel because of location. The restaurant that is next door is also amazing. I was kinda caught off guard by how awesome this place was. BEST STAFF EVER. Food amazing. All said I give a %100 percent score.”

“Hanford House is an inn located on Main Street (Old Highway 49) in Sutter Creek. There are a limited number of rooms on the First and Second floors (maybe six?). Not a bed-and-breakfast inn, but the Element restaurant is at the front of the structure. Breakfasts are not included in the lodging rate. “The place was very nice, clean, and was just as advertised. It was pretty small, but comfortably slept 3 of us. There was no kitchen, just a mini-fridge, a microwave, and a toaster. There are also no plates or bowls (even paper ones) so I suggest that you bring your own if you plan to use the kitchenette. The walk to the lifts is only about 5 min, and there is also a shuttle stop right out front if you don't want to walk.”

“Silver Lake is a beautiful location and having cabins to rent on the lake side is pretty special. The cabins are old and rather quirky, but you can over look some inconveniences, like luke warm water, missing chairs for dining, no plugs in the sinks and even a mouse in your room. But when we checked in they charge me for the room even though I had paid for it . I had to find my credit card bill to show I had paid for the room.
